Welcome to A Life Well Designed Video
In this video we’re going to talk about the fourth principle of good design which is. . .
anything well designed is understandable
When an object is well designed, the user should be able to know what to expect when they interact with it. The form and function are clearly integrated & easily understood.
There are the right amount of details to clearly communicate how to interact with the object.
If it is under designed, there aren’t enough details for the user to understand how to use the object.
If it is over designed, there’s too much information for the user to process in order to be understood. It’s just confusing.
Same goes for a life well designed. There are no secrets. A life well designed is simple and easily understood.
Success leaves clues that we can follow to build our own version of whatever outcome we want in life.
And that’s the fourth principle of good design!
In future videos we’ll go into greater detail on what it means to clarify your life.
As always, I’d love to hear from you. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please comment on the video or send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
