Recently there was a huge announcement about the creation of a parent company, Alphabet, and now Google is announcing a new logo that is a better representation of what Google is, and how people interact with it.
The video does a great job of showing you how the brand has grown, changed, and evolved to better match the way people interact with information.
As a company, Google understands the power of a unified branding identity. Take note how they’re using every element (negative space, color, responsive layout, information systems, open source platforms, etc) to reflect their mission and message.
