Welcome to A Life Well Designed Video
In this video we’re going to talk about the ninth principle which is. . .
Good design is less.
Most people think design is the addition of more and more, but good design is actually a subtractive process.
Take away anything that doesn’t fit the purpose. This will help make it more energy efficient, and thereby more sustainable. You want something that will endure for the long term; and the fewer moving parts, the more sustainable it becomes.
You get those kinds of results by removing that which doesn’t belong; not add more and more just because you think it should be there.
With your life, good design does not mean you’re adopting a persona or affectations. Instead, it is about stripping away the thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors that do not contribute to a life of integrity and quality.
This will help you develop a lifestyle that is sustainable & laser focused on success, however you define it!
And that’s the ninth principle of good design.
If you’d like to get started with that process, click the link and sign up for access to the Life Design Toolkit. It will walk you through exactly how to do that.
As always, I’d love to hear from you. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please comment on the video or send me an email at hello at a life well designed.com
