A LIFE WELL DESIGNED WORKSHOP
College students must deal with an incredible amount of stress; from worrying about grades, friendships, getting a job after graduating among a million other things to worry about.
The number one question we get when working with students is, “Am I in the right major?” which tells us that a lot of the stress comes from a lack of clarity about what they want out of the college experience.
That’s why we created A Life Well Designed Workshop.
During this four hour experience, students will learn how to:
- Get clear about what they want
- Figure why they’re in school
- Know if they’re in the wrong major
- How to network and build a path to a career
- Create a personal mission statement
- Identify what real-world skills they’ll need for success
- Build a community of supportive peers
- And more. . .
Students will go through the signature 7 step design process created by the founder of A Life Well Designed, Jonathan Pritchard. It is a combination of the same design journey teams use all over the world to create some of the most amazing examples of human ingenuity (like the iPhone) with the fundamentals of motivational psychology. Once you understand the underlying psychology of why you do what you do, you can then use those same processes to work for you and get you where you want to go.
What People Say
“Our survey results showed that he was, hands down, the most highly rated presenter of the entire convention, which included a world famous climatologist, a neurobiologist from U.C. Davis, a world renowned child psychologist from U.C. Berkeley, and many others. I would hire Jonathan again in a heartbeat!” ~Sheldon Helms, Organizer of the 3rd annual SkeptiCal Convention in Berkeley, CA
“You had the 3 best-attended presentations of the whole weekend! It was standing room only, and we’ve never seen that before. Thank you so much for providing such wonderful content for the students. They sure learned a lot!” ~Texas Junior College Student Government Association Leadership Development Weekend
